Privacy Policy
AI Balance is made by Yusuf Suhair. This policy covers the AI Balance app for iPhone and Android and this website. In short: your credentials and balances stay on your phone, they go only to the provider they belong to, and the developer never receives them.
What the app stores on your phone
- Provider API keys and the TypeSafe console session cookie, kept in the device's secure storage.
- Balances and monthly spending, up to 90 days of balance history, alert thresholds, and any model usage reports you request. Reports contain model names and aggregate usage, not prompts or responses.
- A summary without credentials, saved for home screen widgets. Anyone who can see your widgets can see it.
If you turn on alerts, local notifications can show a provider name and balance on your lock screen.
What leaves your phone
To refresh a balance, the app sends that provider's credential over HTTPS directly to the provider you connected: TypeSafe (console.typesafe.ai), OpenAI (api.openai.com), Anthropic for Claude (api.anthropic.com), DeepSeek (api.deepseek.com), fal.ai (api.fal.ai), ElevenLabs (api.elevenlabs.io), OpenRouter (openrouter.ai), Moonshot for Kimi (api.moonshot.ai) and Runway (api.dev.runwayml.com). TypeSafe cookies are sent only to console.typesafe.ai. Each provider handles these requests under its own privacy policy and may keep request logs.
Background refresh can contact connected providers while the app is closed. Model usage reports contact a provider only when you request one. The app also fetches a public exchange rate from open.er-api.com, without any of your credentials. Every network service you connect to receives your IP address.
What the developer receives
Nothing from the app. AI Balance has no developer-operated server, no account or login, no advertising SDK and no analytics SDK. The developer does not receive your keys, balances, history or reports. The demo uses sample data and connects to no provider account.
This website
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes requests to serve the pages and may log technical data, such as IP addresses, under its own privacy policy. The site itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts.
Deleting your data
To remove a provider, exit the demo if it is running, tap the provider, open Manage connection (the key icon) and choose Remove. This deletes the credential, its widget entry, its local history and reports, and its alert settings. Replacing a credential also clears that provider's saved history, so two accounts never mix.
On iPhone, keys saved in secure storage can outlast deleting the app, so remove your providers in the app before you uninstall it.
Removing a provider in AI Balance does not delete your account or records at that provider. To revoke a key or session, use the provider's own settings.
Children
AI Balance is a tool for people who manage AI API accounts. It is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted on this page with a new date.
